Hi everyone. This week we will be reading about Ancient Roman education. We will comparing and contrasting modern education with ancient education in Rome. If you have some spare time you might like to do some reading on the computer about this.

Welcome, Welcome to Room 4 for 2014. Many of you already know me - in fact 23 children I have already taught previously. How fabulous! I am so looking forward to our topic this term, Citizenship. We will be looking at the first Citizens of Ancient Rome. I am thinking wouldn't it be great fun to have a Roman feast at the end of the term and eat food that the Ancient Romans ate.
If you are reading this during the last week of the holidays, now is the time to be getting to bed earlier so that you are full of energy for a busy term. We will be having swimming early in the term but at this stage I am not sure when our time is. Make sure you have plenty of pens and pencils, and all the other bits and pieces you need for your first day at school.
SEE YOU ALL at 8.30am on Monday the 3rd of Feb.
